In a first of its kind for our RSL, we ran a highly successful Fashion Parade at Lambert Estate Wines, Angaston on Thursday, 21 April 22.
This was such a great success, we are planning to run another in September.
The event was held in conjunction with Lambert Estate Wine and Dressed4Success a business that sells a range of women's clothing.
Here are two photographs of the event.
You can see it on our "model" at the right in the photograph.
Another lucky person won a rooster painting. Having a rooster that doesn't crow would be most welcome to most of us.
The following photograph shows part of the room full of 250 guests enjoying their afternoon. You can see the clothing display in the background wall and model Jill at left doing her catwalk duty.
The prizes were all donated by the generous local businesses and people who support the RSL without whom, we wouldn't be able to operate.
Lambert Estate Wines donated two large pallets of their Black Sheep wine that many of our fashion parade guests purchased at a bargain basement price before leaving.
While there are numbers of other people who support us, the donors for this specific event are shown in the graphic below.
If you have an opportunity to buy goods and services from them, please do so.
