Your donation assists us in furthering the Objects of the RSL to help veterans, their dependents, and associated organisations within our region that promote RSL Objects. For example, we provide a small amount of funding to Legacy annually and purchased an item of equipment for the local branch of the SA Rural Fire Brigade.
Other donations help us run our two special commemorative days annually (with funds we share with local bands that support us), cover our administrative costs of running the Hut, and assist our veteran members.
All our income is from charitable donations, however, we do occasionally receive specific grant funding from the Department of Veterans Affairs (Federal), Veterans SA, and other organisations eg, Barossa Council for specific equipment or events.
Many local organisations also support our sub-branch with gifts of wine, discounts, and fundraising activities for which we are most appreciative.
